Dollhouse: Eliza Dushku’s First Wedding Pictures and Some Lightning-Quick Plastic Surgery
When Dollhouse returns for season number two later this month, Echo will get married. And I’m still wondering how the heck an Active can get married on an engagement. And while I wait for the official episode synopsis (which is why I still haven’t posted photos from the season premiere) we can all talk about how Eliza Dushku coped with her first wedding scene. I find it funny, actually, getting married on screen before off screen. But anyway.
“I was really impressed with Jamie,” she told TV Guide Magazine. Oh, right, she’s getting married with a wealthy businessman, played by Battlestar Galactica alum Jamie Bamber. “He’s a gorgeous husband with [whom I got] great wedding pictures for my first time down the aisle.”
Or maybe it’s Eliza’s mother who needs coping. “I took a picture and sent it back to my mom, and she called me, a bit flustered,” she said. “In the past couple years, I’ve been getting the [marriage] question from her more than ever, so it’s nice that I could send her some pictures to tide her over.”

In an attempt to explain the wedding away, I’m thinking it’s much like one of Echo’s previous engagements. Remember the guy who, every year, hires an Active to pose as his late wife? The guy who shows the Active around “their” new house? Maybe it’s something like that, only with extra commitment.
The other bit for today comes from the folks at E! Online, who reiterate something that was said at Dollhouse’s Comic-Con panel: Victor’s face will be fixed. Never mind that Alpha slashed it during the season finale, because Enver Gjokaj won’t have to endure having prosthetics placed on his face every episode. (And the same goes for Amy Acker, but only because she’s doing less episodes now that she’s doing Happy Town for ABC.)
That’s lightning-quick plastic surgery, I reckon.
